BadXMS is a convenient solution for DOS, Windows 9x and ME.

Hint: The LINUX solution for faulty RAM is BADMEM and its page can be found at badmem.sourceforge.net.

The 1st release was programmed by Marcel Mateescu for a TOSHIBA laptop with 128 MB RAM, having the 2nd chip burnt (last 64 MBs RAM).

The solution is pretty specific, and a manual of usage is to be found along with the EXE file.
